What are the pros and cons of Redmi Note 8 Pro?

Redmi Note 8 Pro Review: Pros & Cons

Front Side

Back Side

Now it time for Redmi note 8 Pro, After long term usage of note 5 pro, I switched to Redmi phone, Note 8 Pro 6/128gb variant and it feels exciting and little bad as well as I am using it more and more. I have summarised all features and my experience with this phone are here below
Let's start with it's Pros;
The screen is really bigger 6.53inches, brighter at 500nits and strong with gorilla glass with chin is really smaller than any phone as I compare with my old phones,
3D quad curved premium design with glassy finish. I'm totally impressed with its' classy looks,
It comes with an USB Type c and a fast-charging feature along with 18 w charger in box but it charges at normal speed,
It is the first-ever smartphone to come up with Helio G90T chipset and company claims it has liquid cooling system. I hope some updates work on its heating issue,
With 128gb huge storage, the phone comes with a dedicated microSD card slot,
In-built Alexa: Alexa response is great and works well in English,
Slow motion at 960fps is impressive but loses clearity and flickers in artificial lights,
4K video recording at 30fps and 1080 at 30/60/120fps with gyro-EIS,
64mp camera works well and produces clear pictures and selfy camera is great as well,
Here comes Cons;
Right after setting it up I realised phone is heating up, and same is experienced during charging too but now it's stable may be because of winters,
Phone charged only up to 42% in an hour and takes more than 2hrs to full charge,
Fingerprint sensor smaller in comparison with other phones but after sometimes you get used to with that,
No IP rating for dust/water resistance still company claims it splash proof but I will not recommend to take it out in rain,
In screen fingerprint reader not available which same company is offering in its' lower segment mobile phone,
In the era of AMOLED, Super-AMOLED, IPS LCD is a bit minus here,
They could have done a better job with ultrawide and macro camera too,
Phone seems bigger in size and bulky too after using it in back cover you get by default in box its weight goes over 200gms. Its big battery may be one of major reason behind this,

*Update; Now I have been using it since over last two months and it's hanging during typing in apps. I'll record a video and will update also. I feel like I have gone for 8gb RAM version
I have attached sample photos of;
1. Wide angle,
2. Macro,
3. 64mp rear,
4. Selfie,
5. Night mode and a slow motion video
So you can decide on your choice
Final verdict;
For this range it may be best phone currently but camera and phone performance could be better could be better. For general mobile users there might be no issue using it.Camera is not Upto expectation but overall good phone.
